The lights glow red when the Bronco’s running lights are on, become brighter red while braking, and switch to white when the vehicle is placed in reverse.
Do the lights work as turn signals?
No turn-signal function is currently listed. The supported functions are red running lights, brighter red brake lights, and white reverse lights.
Do these lights replace the factory third brake light?
No. They add left and right rear hinge lighting but do not replace the Bronco’s factory third brake light or original tail lights.
Does installation require cutting the factory wiring?
The kit is designed to connect to the supported factory rear-light system using the supplied harness. Follow the current installation guide and do not cut or splice the factory wiring unless instructed by a qualified automotive electrician.
