Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about fitment, installation, protection, and care.
It provides a noticeable improvement over the small factory light by spreading illumination in three directions. It is designed to improve visibility around the rear seats and cargo area, but it should not be treated as a high-output cargo work light.
Yes. The forward-facing LEDs help illuminate the rear-seat area, while the downward- and rear-facing sections add light around the center and cargo areas. Passengers, headrests, and loaded cargo can still block part of the light.
The light is brighter than the factory unit, but it is positioned above and behind the rear passengers rather than aimed directly at their eyes. Brightness perception varies, so use the manual switch when softer lighting is preferred.
It is designed to follow the Bronco’s factory interior-light behavior. After installation, close all doors, lock the vehicle, and wait 3–5 minutes for the electronic system to recognize the new light. If it continues to stay on after recalibration, disconnect it temporarily and contact Mabett support.
