Does every shade snap tightly into the window trim?
No. The installation method varies by window. Some panels sit inside the available window recess, while others use the supplied suction cups for additional support. A panel does not necessarily lock into the trim on every edge.
Which shades require suction cups?
The second-row and tailgate-window panels may require the supplied suction cups for additional stability. Follow the panel labels and installation guide because the exact attachment points can differ by window position.
Why will a suction cup not stay attached?
Clean both the inside glass and the suction cup with water or isopropyl alcohol, allow them to dry, and press the center of the cup firmly against the glass. Dust, interior cleaner, low temperatures, curved glass, or a partially folded suction cup can reduce holding strength.
Why do the rear-quarter window shades look smaller than the glass?
The rear-quarter panels are shaped to sit within the available interior window recess rather than cover every visible edge of the exterior glass. Position each panel carefully and compare the left and right pieces before deciding that the panel is undersized.
