Can I still fold the rear seats with the cup holder installed?
The cup holder body must be removed when it interferes with the rear seat being folded flat. Release the locking pin and lift the cup holder from its installed base—no tools are required. Reinstall it after returning the seats to their normal position.
Will the cup holder come loose if a passenger bumps or pulls on it?
The upgraded locking pin is designed to secure the cup holder body to the installed base during normal use. Make sure the pin is fully engaged before placing drinks inside. Avoid pulling tall bottles sharply upward or using the cup holder as a passenger handhold.
What sizes of bottles, cans, and cups will fit?
The flexible inner grips are designed to hold a range of common bottles, cans, and travel cups, while the rubberized liner helps reduce loose movement. No universal maximum diameter is published, so very wide mugs, oversized tumblers, or unusually shaped handles should be measured before use.
Does installation require drilling or removing the factory lower tray?
No. The mounting base installs at the factory locations without drilling or cutting, and the original lower tray does not need to be removed. With Ford OEM floor mats, press the mat down as shown in the installation video to create the required clearance.
