The cup holder body must be removed when it interferes with the rear seat being folded flat. Release the locking pin and lift the cup holder from its installed base—no tools are required. Reinstall it after returning the seats to their normal position.
The upgraded locking pin is designed to secure the cup holder body to the installed base during normal use. Make sure the pin is fully engaged before placing drinks inside. Avoid pulling tall bottles sharply upward or using the cup holder as a passenger handhold.
