Are speakers included with the pods?
No. The package is an unloaded enclosure kit that includes the left and right rear speaker pods and the associated installation components. Compatible speakers, amplifiers, sound-damping material, and audio-tuning equipment must be purchased separately.
Will every speaker labeled 6.5-inch fit?
No. Nominal speaker sizes are not standardized closely enough to guarantee fit. Compare the speaker’s cutout diameter, overall frame diameter, mounting-hole pattern, mounting depth, and tweeter height with the pod dimensions before ordering.
Will a protruding coaxial tweeter fit under the grille?
Not always. The space between the speaker mounting surface and the supplied grille is limited. Choose a low-profile coaxial speaker or component speaker layout and test-fit the grille before final installation.
Will the pods improve sound without adding an amplifier?
They allow larger speakers to be installed, which can improve rear volume, clarity, and fullness even with the factory system. The amount of improvement varies by speaker efficiency, factory audio package, rear-channel signal, vehicle settings, and listening expectations.
