Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about fitment, installation, protection, and care.
Yes. This set is designed for compatible 2024–2026 Toyota Tacoma Double Cab models and 2025–2026 Toyota 4Runner models. The vehicles use different body styles, so always confirm the model year and factory front mounting configuration before installation. It is not designed for previous-generation Tacoma or 4Runner models.
The hooks provide front attachment points for compatible vehicles, but recovery capability depends on the complete mounting system, recovery equipment, load direction, vehicle condition, and recovery method. Use only the load limits and recovery guidance provided in the Mabett product documentation. Do not treat the rating of a strap, shackle, or other individual component as the rating of the complete tow-hook system.
Compatibility depends on the exact front-end configuration. Factory air dams, skid plates, and aftermarket bumpers or recovery accessories may change the available clearance around the mounting area. Inspect both front mounting locations before ordering and do not modify structural vehicle components simply to make the hooks fit.
No special maintenance is normally required. Clean the hooks with mild automotive soap and water after exposure to mud, road salt, sand, or trail debris. Avoid harsh abrasive cleaners and inspect the surface, mounting hardware, and contact areas periodically for damage or loosening.
