What are the two phone-mounting options included with the kit?
The kit includes one magnetic phone holder and one adjustable clamp-style phone holder. Both can be installed on the dashboard base, allowing two phones to be mounted at the same time or giving the driver a choice between magnetic and mechanical phone retention.
Will the magnetic holder work with my phone and protective case?
Phones and cases with a compatible magnetic ring can attach directly to the magnetic holder. A non-magnetic or very thick case may weaken the connection and may require a compatible magnetic adapter ring. Test the grip while the vehicle is parked before driving, and use the clamp holder when the magnetic connection is not secure.
Does the magnetic phone holder provide wireless charging?
No. The magnetic holder is designed to position and support the phone—it does not include a wireless charging function. Use the vehicle’s charging port and a separate cable when charging is required.
Why would I use a phone mount if my Maverick already has Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?
The mount may not be necessary for drivers who use the factory display for every phone function. It is most useful for phone-only apps, recording driving footage, keeping a charging phone visible, monitoring a second device, or giving the passenger a separate phone position.
